An exciting Virtual Author Experience!
How exciting, hearing from a real author about how they got started, where inspiration from stories come from and about her fantastic Anisha the Accidental Detective series. Through the Book Trust we were able to take part in a virtual meet with Serena Patel. We are now looking forward to starting her book in the New Year!

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
We are currently reading Gulliver's Travels as our class book, as it ties in with our writing inspiration text Float. This story includes a ship wreck and exploring a new world, what we think the little boy in the Float story was imagining at the start of the story. Over the Autumn term we are going to explore a range of texts linked to adventures at sea and on water as well as some factual texts too. Keeping checking in to see where we are in our reading adventures!
