LATEST NEWS!!!

Rehearsals will soon be underway for this year's super KS2 show. All of the classes will begin to learn their songs and dances which will tie into the music and dance aspects of the curriculum. There will also be some poetry recital which will showcase the skills children are learning with in English to recite poems by heart and advance their speaking and listening skills. This year's 2025 performance will be based on musicals both old and new and we hope to see you all there in July 2025 to watch our brilliantly talented children. In the meantime why not take a look at last year's show photos from 'Music Makes The World Go Round' and some of the previous shows we have performed. Watch this space for more information.

We are fortunate at Brookfield Park to have a fantastic stage and professional equipment such as lighting and sound devices to enable us to produce a brilliant performance worthy of any theater. In the past we have put on productions such as Oliver and Joseph and His Technicolour Dreamcoat and Annie but we also write our own productions and have been successful with shows such as ‘ Back to the Eighties’, ‘Life on the Ocean Waves’ and 'Once Upon a Song' and most recently , 'Britain Rocks', 'History Rocks' and 'We Are Family'. We are also very fortunate to have a dedicated staff team who all pull together to make amazing costumes, and to give the children a real taste of the stage with hair and make-up designed to look the part.

We are really proud of our children’s skills and talents at Brookfield Park Primary school and in the past some of the KS2 children from year 4 upwards were invited to take part in a large production at the end of the year in front of parents and children. It has now become the tradition to include all of our KS2 children in the production, which has continued to be a huge success with children, who wouldn't normally put themselves forward, taking part and proving to have a real flair and talent. We also have children who have proved to be good at the back stage roles and demonstrate excellent responsibility. This year there will once again be class based songs and dances and some children throughout KS2 will be chosen for individual roles.
