Welcome back after hopefully what was a wonderful Christmas break!
Many thanks for the Christmas reading project homework received, it was great to see that your child was engaged in various reading activities over the break.
In Beech Class we are very much looking forward to continuing our learning themed around 'What a Wonderful World!'
This term we will be particularly looking at natural disasters and extreme weather!
Here we will aim to link our learning across the curriculum to this theme.
The children seem very interested in this topic, and can't wait to find out more!
We have lots of exciting learning opportunities plans for this term both within the classroom and outside it.
We continue to have a huge focus on reading as part of the local We are Reading initiative. This term all our children will visit the local library and get the chance to become members if they are not already members. Reading is an amazing way to support your child in finding out about the world around them, boost their imagination and help them to improve their spelling and writing.
Please support your child to complete their reading, maths and spelling homework each week.
