A note from Oak class teacher:

Dear parents/ carers,

                                               The children have all made a fantastic start to the new school year and have settled in well and adapted to the new routines we have. They all look fabulous in their new school uniforms. On our class page you will find a link for each term, which will then take you to subjects areas so you can find out more about what we are learning in class as well as photographs.  

                               In Year 1 the focus is very much on Reading and Phonics and it is very important that the children read at home as much as possible. You can find more information about this as well as useful websites and links for reading and phonics in the tab 'Reading and Phonics'.
